Invite fellow podcast authors for guest voice appearances

I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this idea.
Thought it would great if podcast authors could make some guest appearances. For example Phil Rossi (Crescent), Scott Sigler (Infected), Eric Busby (Darker Projects). Of course it takes more than one person to produce a podcast, so maybe the offered could be sent to the producers and editors.
Would be a win, win the for podcast community.

Any suggestions?

I've thought about it, but haven't attempted to. I'm a big fan of being able to direct the actors in a studio, so that would detract somewhat.
